Hello, my name is Sam, and I'm a Whoser. I love Whose Line and
I do enjoy Drew's Line (even though Disney-owned ABC and their censoring
ways irk me...) I love every performer on the show (ok...maybe not George
Wendt or Chip...or Sessions....) but I have a chosen few favourites.
They are Tony, Greg, Rory and Steve Frost. Why these gents? Because
they laugh when they find someting funny....I appreciate that. There
is no other reason at all.
Hello, my name is Serena and I am a Whoser. I remember catching
a glimpse of WLiiA once when I was in England thought nothing of it
and continued on drinking my cuppa.;) I really got hooked when the Comedy
Network started airing it a couple of years ago. It was the funniest
thing! My favourite players are Ryan, Colin, Greg Brad, Steve and Tony.
My favourite games are Dead Bodies, Party Quirks, Hoedown and Home Shopping.
I think Clive Anderson should be British PM....I love that man!
Hello, my name is Shari (aka ShaNaNa), and I'm a and I'm an
addict, I mean a whoser. I am a certified massage therapist (almost
NY licensed) and have helped many whosers during times of need with
headaches and such (Wayne has already said he needs me to work on him,
what about the rest of them?) I'm in LUST with Drew Carey. Don't ask
me why but I can't help myself. I've been a fan of WLiiA? for what seems
like forever... must be at least 6 years because my sister made me watch
it before she moved to florida. Since then I was hooked. I was upset
what it stopped running on Comedy Central and I wish it would come back.
I think ALL the contestants are extremely talented and all deserve my
affection. I could go on and on....
Hello, my name is Sharilyn, and I am a Whoser. I was an improv
fan before I started watching Whose Line -- I saw The 3 Canadians (from
Calgary, "on hiatus" right now) at the Winnipeg Fringe Festival in '94
and fell in love. I go see local improv whenever I can.
I found out about Whose Line when it started airing on The Comedy Network
in '97, but I didn't want to watch it. Why, you ask? Because about a
year earlier I accidently (computer was on one side of the room, tv
and remote on the other) watched an episode of Kwik Witz (*shudder*).
That left me with psychological damage, and I didn't want any part of
televised improv. Finally, in January of '98, a friend of mine was stuck
at my place during a blizzard. He made me watch it, and I am very grateful!
I've been addicted ever since. I started lurking on the board 3 days
after the first convention (I was actually IN Toronto that weekend too
see Tom Rhodes, one of my favourite stand-ups! D'oh!!).
I posted shortly after that, but didn't make it to chat until May 1
'98. Still have the log. =) I got to go to about 7 or 8 tapings of Supertown
Challenge and made friends with Brooke's floor. I've been to LA once,
so I've been to 3 tapings of Drew's Line, seen the Honkeys once, and
seen Brad do improv live twice, once with Ryan. Is it ever enough?!?
No.
