Memorable Moments - Whosers
on TV
Some of the favourite memories are of moments when a Whoser has made
it onto the real WL show in one way or another. The following list is
probably not a complete chronicle of these moments, but should show
just how much of an impact whosers can make!
Secret
On the british version, the suggestion of William Tell's
secret being hidden in the apple was a Whoser suggestion.
Press Conference
In her initiation to the world of IRC #wliia, Donna
was given a quirk in Press Conference. Her quirk? That she was having
Clive's love child. That very suggestion ended up being used on the
britih version, with Colin ending up playing Donna's role.
Home Shopping
On the british version, the suggestion of a rusty bathtub
(from the Banana Bungalows) was used.
Song Styles
Ashley, in one of the most famous moments, got picked
(which aired) on the British version to be sung to by Wayne Brady. He
sang to her in the style of Barry White, about astronomy. As Clive said,
she was the most shell-shocked he'd ever seen in his entire life.
Natalie was sung to by Brad Sherwood at the American
version in the style of a broadway musical, and from then on was never
able to claim she didn't swoon. However, due to this having been the
same taping as the famous Nuroshi song, this song has not aired yet.
Superheroes
The suggestion, on the british version, of Captain
Hot Studmuffin, is clearly heard (though response to this was edited
out).
Hoedown
On the American version, the suggestion of a hoedown
about Men was a Whoser suggestion.
Film and Theatre Styles
On the American version, the suggestion of Porno (from
the woman we'd all like to get to know better, according to Drew)
On the american version, the suggestion of Blair Witch
Project was made (and consequently trashed by Drew)
The suggestion of the Rocky Horror Picture Show was
picked up and written down on the American version, but not used in
the game itself
The suggestion of a 50s musical (in the American version)
was given by Laura N.
Scene to Rap
The Hospital Rap on the American version was suggested
by Cindy
Three Headed Broadway Star
The Whistle on Cue suggestion for 3 headed Broadway
star was from Laura N. .... "(the look Ryan gives the audience
was cut drastically - and it was to me:-( ) I have not suggested since..."
Moving People
Adria, Cindy & Erin all had a chance to play Moving
People at a British taping, although none of these have made it to air
yet. (The picture of Adria & Erin, however, did make it onto Hat Trick's
website for awhile.)
Ashley was again featured when she got to play Moving
people on the american version of the show. She was given 1000 points
for her shorts.
